for a seven week series in βCompassion, Community, Empathy & Embodimentβ
About this series:
This seven-week class, blends Nonviolent Communication (NVC), singing, and movement to foster deep inner aliveness, loving relationships, and communities of celebration and resilience.
By combining the emotional intelligence of NVC with the embodied practices of singing and movement we will create a healing and transformative experience that can be immediately applied to one's intimate and community relationships.
Each week, guided exercises and group processes will create a supportive environment for powerful and dynamic personal growth experiences.
Join us to cultivate compassion, connect deeply with others, and embody your authentic self through this transformative, holistic journey.
Skills we will be learning in this class:
How to use NVCβs powerful communication model to share honestly without driving people away
Deepen awareness of what you are feeling and how to put that into words
Understand what needs are motivating your behaviors and communicate that to others skillfully
How to make powerful requests that activate other peoples natural desire to care for you
Listening to others and really understanding whatβs going on for them
Reflecting back to people what you are hearing them say in a way that builds closeness
Working skillfully with conflict so you create intimacy instead of separation
How to create healthy boundaries in a way that builds greater trust and love
Exploring the power of gratitude and appreciation to build a strong container of relationship
Working skillfully when issues from the past spill over into present relationships

Testimonials:
Marieve R.
I am so grateful that I token classes with Steve. It's helped me build a solid shared foundation with my partner, nip potential problems in the bud, and provide an incredibly effective structure to help navigate inevitable tensions that arise in a relationship.
Steve's teachings have helped me be aware of my partner (and my own feelings and needs!) in a way that I wouldn't have otherwise, in a way that allows me to connect and react more skillfully. And while I entered into the course mostly thinking how it could be helpful for my romantic relationship, it's also infused the way I think about and interact with all other relationships.
Robin G.
My relationships have improved, my anxiety has decreased and I am more able to be of service. I have introduced hundreds of people to NVC through Steve and for many of them it has been life changing as well. Steve embodies the practice of Compassionate Communication and is a truly unique human being who I consider a role model and a guide in life.
Any person who is looking to improve their relationships with family, friends, colleagues and complete strangers would benefit from Steve's guidance.

βSteve is an excellent coach. I started taking his [course] with my ex husband as we began to navigate a separation with 2 young children and a move to a different state. We knew we needed help communicating well with each other through all the hard and new transitions, especially for our children. If we hadn't taken Steve's course there is high chance that we would be on non-talking terms.
